The rubber plug on the filler is tight and can only be taken out with a thin flathead screwdriver and a pair of pliers. We were afraid of ripping it.

There were no signs of leaks before or after filling, so it looks like it was underfilled from the factory, and we don’t expect to have to add more any time soon.
